Richard E. Ferraro
Dr. Ferraro is Board Certified in Otolaryngology by the American Academy of Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery. He is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
Dr. Ferraro has been a resident of Pennsylvania his entire life, growing up in Western Pennsylvania and moving to Central Pennsylvania in 1995. He has been the senior physician at Carlisle Ear, Nose and Throat Associates since 2004.
Dr. Ferraro completed his undergraduate educations at Case Western Reserve University then completed his master’s degree at Georgetown University. He earned his Medical Doctorate from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and his Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Residency at the Penn State MS Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Ferraro established Carlisle Ear, Nose and Throat Associates in Carlisle in 2004 and he continues to practicing as the managing physician.

Pamela S Darden RN, MSN, CRNP
Pamela is a graduate of North Hagerstown High School, Hagerstown Md. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond Va. For pre-nursing. In the early 70’s She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, from the University of Maryland and went on to receive her Master of Science of Nursing from Widener University, Harrisburg Pa.
Pamela has lived in the Carlisle- Newville area for 30 years. She has been a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) for 44 years. She worked those years in critical care and emergency room. Pam became Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2000 and worked in the Emergency room at Holy Spirit for the last 17 years. During that time she also work with Dr. Ferraro in his Carlisle ENT practice. In 2016 she transitioned to Holy Spirit urgent care here in Carlisle. She is now back with us full time at Carlisle Ear Nose & Throat.
Lisa B. Brown, Au.D. CCC-A
Dr. Lisa earned her Doctorate of Audiology from A. T. Still University Arizona School of Health Sciences. In addition, she holds both a Masters of Audiology and a Bachelors of Speech-Language-Hearing: Sciences & Disorders from the University of Kansas.
She was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and has lived in central Pennsylvania for over 20 years. She joined Carlisle ENT in 2010 after taking some time off to raise her three children. She is a Pennsylvania licensed audiologist and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is a fellow member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Lisa provides comprehensive diagnostic audiological evaluations for all ages. She specializes in hearing aid evaluations, counseling, instrument fittings, tinnitus management, and follow-up care. Her compassionate approach and knowledge about the latest digital hearing aid technology provide patients with the best hearing healthcare for their lifestyle.
She currently resides in Mechanicsburg and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
I have been in the medical field for 20 years. I switched to banking for a couple of years but, decided that patient care was where I wanted to be. I started at Carlisle Ear Nose &; Throat 15 years ago as the receptionist. Through the years I worked check out, became an Audio Tech, a front office coordinator and now office manager. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful girls that I am very proud of. I love travel and taking cruises.
I have worked in the medical field for 27 years and 16 of those years at Carlisle Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates. I am also a wife and proud mom of my 2 girls ages 21 and 15. Both of my girls play soccer at the college level and the other in high school and club level. My husband and I spend our free time traveling to soccer games.

I became a CNA in the beginning of 2020 and started my position at Carlisle ENT in June of 2021. I married my high school sweetheart and we have 3 beautiful children together. I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends. On a nice day you will find me in our boat at Raystown Lake!
